Michael Clark, CEO of DeliverHealth, a global provider of technology-enabled solutions for hospitals, health systems, and group practices discusses the company’s recent acquisition of PresidioHealth, a healthcare technology and clinical intelligence company, as well as the launch of the DeliverHealth platform. He also talks about DeliverHealth’s founding story, the success the company has had over the past year, and how the company plans to grow and expand in the healthcare market.
Michael Clark, Chief Executive Officer. Prior to leading the spin-out of the HIM and EHR services businesses from Nuance Healthcare and founding DeliverHealth Solutions in early 2021, Michael spent four years as General Manager, Provider Solutions, at Nuance. He led the division’s aggressive growth of its flagship, Dragon Medical One, to hundreds of thousands of physicians and expansion in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region while helping earn the 2020 #1 KLAS ranking for Dragon Medical OneFrom 2018 to 2020, continuing Nuance pivot to the cloud, Michael launched four category-leading CAPD Dragon platform specialty products in surgical, emergency, cardiovascular, and inpatient/outpatient guidance. He was instrumental in bringing the industry-leading AI cloud CDI portfolio to drive capture of appropriate Case Mix for physicians and health systems. By guiding the largest portion of the customer base to the cloud, Michael substantially improved health systems costs, revenue integrity, security, and overall physician satisfaction. DeliverHealth was founded to simplify healthcare complexities by making it easier to tell the patient’s story, putting patients over paperwork, and allowing physicians to better connect with patients and patients to better control their journey.Prior to Nuance and more than 25 years in healthcare worldwide, Michael held executive roles in startups, PE-backed midsize and mid-cap public companies, all serving the provider and patient space.
