Sapna McManus is an experienced physician with a demonstrated history of working in the biotechnology industry, specializing in health equity. In her role as Head of Patient Inclusion and Health-Equity in Genentech’s Chief Diversity Office, Sapna leads the company’s Advancing Inclusive Research and Health Equity team, leads external and internal engagement with D&I advocacy, and oversees opportunities for partnership with external stakeholders. Sapna comes from a strong academic and clinical background, with a master’s in healthcare administration focused on payer systems and integrated delivery networks. Prior to joining the team at Genentech, Sapna worked at leading academic health sciences centers and pharmaceutical companies, with experience in oncology, hematology, immunology, biotechnology, drug development, safety science, medical devices, and medical affairs.
