Guest Bio: Dr. Jaju is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist at Smile Wonders of Reston, VA. Since completing her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Medical Center (CNMC) in Washington, DC she continues to serve as a clinical faculty.She has achieved the Advanced Proficiency Laser Certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Her expertise in using Waterlase safely and effectively is recognized by the World Clinical Laser Institute with their highest Mastership Certification. In the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, she has not only been selected as a member of the Council of Clinical Affairs but she is also one of the members of the Examination Committee of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She stays involved with organized dentistry and serves as a Board Member of Academy of Laser Dentistry.

Director of the Blackmores Institute and Adjunct Senior Research fellow at Monash/Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre, Associate Professor at the National Institute of Complementary Medicine Western Sydney University, Lesley is a pharmacy graduate from Monash University and a qualified naturopath.

She is a member of the Australian Therapeutic Goods Advisory Council which advises the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA),  Executive committee for the Complementary and Integrative Medicine interest group for the Clinical Oncological Society of Australia (COSA), Advisory Committee for the Australasian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA), member of the International Society for Complementary Medicine Research and several working groups for the National Institute for Complementary Medicine (NICM).

Guest Bio: A graduate of Amherst College and New York Medical College, Paula Muto, M.D., F.A.C.S., is the founder of UBERDOC, the patient to specialist (P2S) direct access web app. Paula is in solo private practice, serving as the Director and CEO of the Vein Center at Mutosurgical. A fellowship trained vascular surgeon by specialty, she also practices general surgery and has been a long time advocate of women’s health issues – with a commitment to the care of uninsured, inner city patients with breast cancer.  The mother of two college kids, Paula resides in Andover, Mass. with her husband Jonathan, who is also a surgeon.

Guest: Dr. Adolfo Ramirez

Guest Bio: Dr. Adolfo Ramirez Zamora is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology and director of clinical trials at the University of Florida, Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration which is part of the Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases and the McKnight Brain Institute. Dr. Ramirez practiced neurology over the past 5 years at the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Albany Medical Center where he served as an Associated Professor of Neurology and the Philly E. Dake Chair in Movement Disorders. Dr. Ramirez completed a surgical internship at Mercy Hospital of Philadelphia along with a medicine internship At Bassett Healthcare Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. He then went on to complete his neurology residency at Loyola University Chicago, followed by fellowship training in movement disorders at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Ramirez’s unique areas of expertise encompass management of the entire spectrum of movement disorders, cerebellar ataxias and the use of botulinum toxin injections and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for the treatment of movement disorders.

Guest Bio: A nationally and internationally recognized leader in the field of menopause and women’s health, Dr. Pinkerton has been a NAMS member since 1992, serving on the Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2010. She was the Society’s President in 2008-2009 and is a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). Dr. Pinkerton has also been a member of many of the Society’s Committees, including serving as Chair of the 2008 Scientific Program Committee.

Dr. Pinkerton is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Division Director of Midlife Health at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia..

She has undertaken research in Neuro-ophthalmology and Perceptual Neuroscience at Cambridge, in London and at Harvard Medical School. She speaks several languages and is a teacher of hot yoga.
