Within days of learning she was pregnant with her 3rd child, Gina – a 39 year-old lawyer living in NYC – learned she had colon cancer. Her only symptom was rectal bleeding and she had no family history of cancer.  Wanting to keep the baby, she met with several surgeons who told her that she wouldn’t be able to if she underwent traditional surgery.
