Paddy Mullen joined BRANY 2010 and reports directly to BRANY’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining BRANY Ms. Mullen founded DiscoveryOrtho Partners, a consulting and advisory firm focused on the orthopedic sector. Ms Mullen developed her expertise in orthopedics and research starting in 1999 as Executive Vice President at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, the leading orthopedic hospital in the U.S. At HSS, Ms. Mullen was instrumental in the creation of HSS Ventures, a technology development company focused on venture capital investment, clinical research, product development and licensing in both rheumatology and orthopedics. Prior to joining HSS, Ms. Mullen served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Continuum Health Partners in New York City. Ms. Mullen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Babson College.
Bharat S. Krishna serves as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of CITI Program, a worldwide leader in online education serving over a million and a half students a year and 2,500+ global institutions. At Kaplan, a diversified global education company, he held multiple roles over several years as VP of Strategy & Business Development, General Manager of Kaplan Test Prep International, VP of Product for Kaplan Licensure Group (Medical, Nursing & Legal), and VP of Emerging Markets (leading M&A efforts). Among his accomplishments at Kaplan, he oversaw a global Test Prep online education business grow across 150+ countries, while delivering one of the highest Net Promoter Scores of any product group at the company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Krishna spent several years at IBM leading teams delivering digital business solutions for several Fortune 500 clients. As a former McKinsey consultant, Mr. Krishna has broad experience problem-solving C-suite issues for a wide range of business and organizational challenges for enterprises of various sizes. Mr. Krishna holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India, and a Master of Business Administration from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he is also an IEP alumnus from the London Business School. Mr. Krishna has also served on the corporate boards of iProf Learning Solutions and Kaplan India; and he also serves on the board of Science Alive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on STEM education in K-12 schools.
