ViiV Healthcare – HIV Health Community Programs

Amelia Korangy, MSW, leads Community Giving in the US for ViiV Healthcare – the only company solely focused on HIV. She works to fund and support community based organizations across the US who are advancing insights and advocacy, forging connections for people living with HIV, and making a direct impact with on the ground services. At ViiV Healthcare, Amelia directs work to expand linkage and adherence programs in the South through the Positive Action Southern Initiative, and Positive Action for Women, focused on breaking down isolation and stigma for cis and trans women of color.
Prior to joining ViiV Healthcare, Amelia was a Senior Consultant at TCC Group where she led strategy and capacity building projects for a range of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, and at the Ms. Foundation for Women where she helped launch a movement building initiative to end child sexual abuse. She is on the Board of Directors of Funders Concerned About AIDS and a founding member of the new Southern HIV Impact Funders collaborative. Amelia holds a BS from the University of Maryland and an MSW from Columbia University.
