Jamie McCoy, General Manager of Theranostics and Radiotherapeutics at GE HealthCare discusses theranostics and how it is changing the treatment of prostate cancer and what impact this will have on patients.
James (Jamie) H. McCoy is the Global General Manager for GE HealthCare’s theranostics segment. In this role he is creating the company-wide theranostics strategy, connecting and creating solutions to help healthcare providers incorporate radiotherapeutics into their patient treatment plans. Previously, Jamie was the Global General Manager for GE HealthCare’s PET/CT business and the Chief Marketing Officer for GE HealthCare’s Molecular Imaging and Computed Tomography business. His healthcare career spans 20 years. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering and added an MBA degree from Marquette University.
