Greg Pierce brings 30+ years of experience in financial services to his role as Senior Vice President & General Manager, Specialty for Synchrony’s Health & Wellness business, a position he has held since 2013. In this role, Greg oversees the Cosmetic, Dermatology, Spa, Vision & Hearing Markets. Greg and his cross functional team are responsible for the P&L performance of these markets.   In addition, Greg was appointed the Synchrony Commercial Executive responsible for our Allegro Acquisition in 2021.  

Greg came to GE/Synchrony in June 2003 in the Conseco acquisition as the Managing Director for Recreational Lending/Powersports business.   Greg continued those responsibilities at GE until 2010 when he was promoted to SVP Strategy & Digital Leader for Payment Solutions before taking his current role.   Prior to joining GE/Synchrony, Greg held Business Development, Marketing and Credit Risk roles at Household International and Citibank.   Greg served as PDN+ Global Community Initiative Leader the last three years and remains active in multiple networks.   In addition, Greg was one of the leaders to develop Synchrony’s Growth Council in 2013 and remains Northwestern University’s Recruiting Executive Sponsor for the business.   Greg is currently CareCredit’s Chicago site leader a role he has held since 2013.  

Greg earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University where he played football.   Greg is married to his wife Stephanie and has three boys (Justin-Professional Basketball in Europe, Alec-Professional Football player with Indianapolis Colts, Caden-Student/Athlete at Princeton University).
