Alison Corcoran, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at DentaQuest, discusses the gaps in dental care in the U.S., the future of oral health in this country, and what can be done to change a system that is failing millions of Americans.
Alison Corcoran is EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of DentaQuest, the nation’s leading organization dedicated to improving the oral health of all. Under her leadership, DentaQuest is transforming the model of care and achieving significant social impact. Alison brings a powerful combination of future-forward strategies and deep marketing expertise to DentaQuest’s brand and business model. Through her efforts, DentaQuest is developing innovative, data-intensive approaches to elevate the patient experience and improve care overall. As a passionate champion of progress, Alison also serves as President of the DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Health Advancement, which she helped establish. The Partnership addresses underinvested areas of oral health that are critical to providing better care to more people. To date, the organization’s research and strategic grantmaking programs have provided more than $200 million in funding to improve oral health. Prior to joining DentaQuest, Alison served in a number of senior leadership positions for national and international organizations including Staples, Sears Canada, and BJ’s Wholesale Club. Alison also founded Corcoran & Associates, a marketing and strategy firm providing consultancy services to companies such as Zipcar and The Princeton Review. She received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College and her Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Williams College.
