Health Professional Radio
Katherine Lodge: Thank you for listening to Health Professional Radio. I’m Katherine, and today, we’re joined by Diane Westaway. Diane is the founder of Wild Women On Top, which is a trekking training company for women. Their focus is on health and fitness for thousands of women by connecting them to walk together in nature. Wild Women On Top inspires women to transform their lives by preparing them for extreme adventures and showing them how.
A big focus is on the mental, physical and emotional health and positive thinking, using daily exercise to provide health. Diane has a Physical Education degree and has spent the last thirty years working in the fitness industry, educating women about their bodies and healthy aging. She also runs the Sydney Coastrek, which is a 50- or 100–kilometre team challenge, annually, where thousands of women trek the coast of Sydney to raise funds to restore sight. And she also regularly blogs on women’s health and fitness in nature. Welcome to our show, Diane. [laughs]
