Guest Bio: Dr. Alberto Pinzon Charry specialises in the treatment and management of diseases in infants, children and adolescents that result from abnormalities of the immune system. Alberto received his medical degree from the National University of Columbia in 1999. This was followed by a PhD in Immunology at the University of Queensland, completed in 2005; and, subsequently, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Immunology at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research and a Fellowship in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Royal and Lady Cilento Children’s Hospitals, completed in 2016.Through his work at Paeds in a Pod, he aims to help his patients and their families to manage their disease and live normal happy lives.
