She has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry spanning roles in medical affairs, clinical research and clinical practice as a pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist. She most recently served as the Vice President & Therapeutic Area Head, Cardiovascular Clinical Research at Gilead Sciences, Inc., where she worked on clinical development and launch planning for multiple rare disease products. Prior to that she was Vice President of U.S. Medical Affairs, General Medicine at Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; and Vice President and Head, North America Medical Affairs at UCB, Inc. She previously held medical and clinical roles at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; Forest Research Institute, Inc.; Sanofi; and Pfizer, Inc.; and she served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Indigo Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
