Neal Howard: Hello. You’re listening to Health Professional Radio. Our guest in studio today is returning guest, Dr. Mark Estren, PhD. He holds doctorates in psychology and in English, and he’s a Pulitzer prize-winning journalist, the author of Statins: Miraculous or Misguided? He’s got affiliations with CBS and ABS News, among others, and we’re here today to talk a little bit about a class of drugs known as statins.
Statins are designed to reduce the effects of cholesterol in our arteries, and we’re going to talk a little bit about whether or not they actually do what they’re supposed to, and some of the side effects and things of that nature. How are you doing today, Mark?
