Dr. Owens oversees the scientific communications, field medical science liaison team, clinical trials, educational efforts and publications for Women’s Health efforts at AbbVie. Dr. Owens recently served as the Senior Medical Director in Clinical Development at AbbVie, and was responsible for helping lead the direction, planning, execution and interpretation of clinical trials in women’s health issues to deliver robust clinical data. She also serves as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the Morehouse School of Medicine.
