Carrum Health – Driving Down Employer’s Healthcare Costs

Brook West, Chief Commercial Officer at Carrum Health discusses why telehealth is not enough to save providers, health plans, and employers from a backlog of 1 million MSK surgeries delayed due to COVID-19, and how to effectively implement surgical appropriateness through value-based Centers of Excellence as part of the solution – delivering quality, less expensive care.

With a proven track-record of success in the digital health space, Brook serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Carrum Health. Before joining Carrum, Brook was responsible for building the go-to-market commercial plan at 98point6, resulting in the acquisition of more than 3 million members in just over two years. Over the past 20 years, she’s helped commercialize health tech and SaaS products at companies like Valant, Fuze, Microsoft, and more. Brook holds a Bachelor’s degree in linguistics and Russian from the University of Pittsburgh.
