Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, a poorly-known type of skin cancer

Dr. Ariel Ostad is a board-certified dermatologist well known in New York City and beyond for his leadership in the fields of cosmetic and medical dermatology and laser dermatology, including skin cancer. A graduate of NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Ostad is also fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, laser and cosmetic surgery at UCLA and completed an internal medicine internship at Harvard Medical School. Over the course of his more than two decades in practice, Dr. Ostad has become an authority on Mohs micrographic surgery, co-authoring the textbook Practical Management of Skin Cancer and currently serving as an associate editor with Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.
