GO2 Foundation for lung cancer and “Clear Your View” campaign

Bonnie J. Addario, Co-Founder, Board Chair, GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer discusses the foundation along with other patient advocacy group’s support of Guardant Health’s “Clear Your View” campaign to bring awareness around comprehensive genomic testing for patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) before first-line treatment.

Bonnie Addario, Founder and Chair of the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation (now GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer) & Lung Cancer Survivor. Activist, advocate, educator and change agent empowering patients in the fight against lung cancer since receiving a stage 3B diagnosis over a decade ago. In 2006, [she and her family] started the patient-focused, patient-driven Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, devoted exclusively to eradicating Lung Cancer through research, early detection, education, and treatment, and expanded [their] efforts through founding the Addario Lung Cancer Medical Institute, an international research consortium in 2008. [Bonnie] previously served as President of Olympian Oil Company, the Commercial Fueling Network and the California Independent Oil Marketers Association. But [her] work on the Board of the Personalized Medicine Coalition and as a patient voice fighting both lung cancer and the stigma associated with it to industry leaders, clinicians, and policy makers, including as a member of the National Cancer Moonshot Initiative, is what keeps [her] going.
