Suvoda – Global Clinical Trial Technology

Robert Hummel, Chief Operating Officer at Suvoda, a global clinical trial technology company, discusses the rise in trial complexity, how the focus has shifted to implementing more patient-centric trials, and why selecting the right technology partner to manage the patient journey to eliminate costly trial delays is becoming increasingly crucial. 

Rob has overall responsibility for the company’s operations worldwide. Rob joined Suvoda as Vice President of Client Services from NextDocs Corporation where he was Director of Services, leading a cross-functional team of consultants responsible for the implementation of NextDocs quality, regulatory, and clinical content management solutions for customers in the life-sciences industry. At NexDocs, he helped scale the company by growing the services team from 15 to 50 employees in three years. Rob joined NextDocs from Clarix/Phase Forward where he was a manager of IRT services leading cross-functional teams that implemented over 100 IRT systems for clients ranging from small biotechnology firms to large global pharmaceutical companies and CROs. Rob holds a B.S. in biology from Lafayette College. He lives in Conshohocken, PA where he enjoys playing golf, and cooking with his wife using fresh ingredients from their garden.
