Dr. Chan is a Gastroenterologist and the Chief of Clinical and Translational Epidemiology Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as the director of Cancer Epidemiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School and MPH from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Chan’s clinical interests include cancer prevention, gastroenterology, colon and rectal cancer, and hereditary colorectal cancer.
