Puzzling Skin Condition – Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Dr. Joslyn Kirby, Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Pennsylvania State University discusses an often misdiagnosed skin condition of hidradentitis suppurativa (HS) and how it is more than just an inflammatory skin disease. Dr. Joslyn Kirby is an associate professor in the department of dermatology, director of the dermatology residency program at Pennsylvania State University and a board member for the HS Foundation. Dr. Kirby has focused her research on Hidradenitis Suppurativa, including health services research of utilization and costs, coping and resilience and research of novel outcome measures.
